When should you take a breastfeeding class?
There’s no single “right” week. The workshop is designed particularly with the mid-third trimester in mind, while there’s still enough time to put practical support in place before birth.
Most importantly? Don’t wait until after your baby arrives to start learning. Breastfeeding challenges are more likely if you haven’t prepared during pregnancy.
What if i need breastfeeding support after my baby arrives?
If you do run into problems after birth, you don’t have to figure them out alone.

This workshop is designed for p expecting parents in Cayman who are planning to breastfeeding, particularly pregnant moms in their third trimester. Partners are highly encouraged to attend too.

The workshop is designed for you to attend during the third trimester of pregnancy, ideally with enough time before your due date to put your postpartum plan into place. If you’re earlier in pregnancy, please contact me to be added to my waitlist for upcoming workshops.

Not exactly. Breastfeeding is at the heart of the workshop, but this workshop is not simply about teaching you how to breastfeeding. It’s about helping you to prepare for the reality of doing it. We’ll focus on navigating life while breastfeeding a newborn, and what kinds of support can make it easier.

This workshop is less about giving you breastfeeding information, and more about thinking through how you’ll actually navigate those first weeks. This way is usually the missing piece to traditional breastfeeding education.

For partners especially, it is a team effort, and this workshop is an opportunity to develop a shared mindset around how you’ll navigate life with a newborn. Partners play a crucial role in creating an environment where breastfeeding can get off to a good start.

You’ll receive a questionnaire to complete before the workshop, as well as your postpartum plan template. You are encouraged to begin filling out the template before the workshop, so you can identify any questions you may have to ask in the Q&A.
